VM-3240VA là một bộ khuếch đại đa chức năng có thể được gắn trong một thiết bị tiêu chuẩn EIA-Rack (3-đơn vị kích thước). Đơn vị đi kèm với đầu vào âm thanh bao gồm nhạc nền đầu vào và đầu ra loa phần trong đó có một bộ suy giảm nội bộ và chọn 6-đầu ra. Nó cho phép không chỉ có mục đích chung phát âm thanh thông báo công cộng, mà còn phát thanh khẩn cấp dựa trên các tiêu chuẩn EN60849 trong đó cung cấp cho hướng dẫn bằng giọng nói trước khi ghi âm trong các tình huống khẩn cấp. Phát âm thanh thông báo khẩn cấp có thể được thực hiện từ một Microphone tùy chọn Fireman RM-300MF cũng như từ các bộ khuếch đại công suất âm thanh, và có thể được điều khiển từ xa từ các thiết bị bên ngoài như micro điều khiển chọn vùng từ xa. Ngoài ra, thiết bị âm thanh thông báo khẩn có chức năng giám sát  hệ thống an ninh tòa nhà và tự động kiểm tra hệ thống
The VM-3240VA is a multifunctional amplifier that can be mounted in an EIA-Standard equipment rack (3-unit size). The unit comes with audio inputs including the background music input, and the speaker output section which has an internal attenuator and 6-output selector. It permits not only general-purpose broadcast, but also Emergency broadcast based on the EN60849 Standard which gives pre-recorded voice instructions in the emergency situation. Emergency broadcast can be made from an optional RM-300MF Fireman's Microphone as well as from the amplifier, and can be remotely controlled from external equipment. In addition, the unit features the surveillance function which automatically checks the system for failures.

The RM-300MF Fireman's Microphone is designed for exclusive use with the VM-3000 Series. It is equipped with an emergency activation key, permitting pre-recorded evacuation and alert announcements to be activated, and microphone announcement to be made in emergency situations. By connecting the RM-320F Fireman's Microphone Extension to the RM-300MF, the number of function keys can be expanded. The zone selection or failure acknowledgment function can be assigned to such function keys.
